Seniors graduating in May 2022 who are eligible to purchase an honor cord (if you have 88+ cumulative numeric average or above after first semester) are encouraged to purchase their cord through OSP before the end of day April 30. Please do so earlier so that you may wear your cord at Honors Night if you are invited to participate. Purchased honor cords can now be picked up from Ms. Bolt's office in Counseling Suite 1320 during school hours.
The women’s and men’s varsity tennis teams host Archer High School in the first round of state playoffs. The women’s match will start at 4pm; the men will play immediately after. Come down to the courts and show your RAIDER SPIRIT!
Tonight, the Varsity Girls Soccer team takes on Harrison High School in the 2nd round of the State playoffs at home with kickoff at 7pm. Please come support and be loud to cheer on the team. Go Raiders!!
The varsity baseball team won 2 games Friday vs. Cherokee, the number one team in 7A.
The raiders put up a school record 22hits scoring 16 runs. Haden Gupton lead the team Friday night with 6 hits and 7 RBIs.
In game 1 Gupton set a school record for 5 hits in one game including a grand slam.
Casual Kay, Cooper Mendlinger and Haden Gupton all hit homeruns in the game
In game 2, the Raiders won a close one 4-3. Austin Janda and Cade Phillips worked together to victory on the mound
The Raiders collected six hits in game 2 from Cooper Mendlinger, Haden Gupton, Braydon Kersey and Casual Kay – who hit his second homerun of the night. Gupton drove in the winning run with a walk off single.
The 2 game sweep of Cherokee sets Alpharetta up for a showdown this week with Roswell for the state playoffs. The Raiders travel to Roswell Tuesday night game time 6:15pm for game one of the three game series, games 2 and 3 will be home on Friday night game 1 starts at 5:00pm.
Friday is night student appreciation night, the first 75 AHS students on the wall will receive a Raider baseball t-shirt.
Calling all dancers, performers, and those who would like to learn! Join a strong nationally competitive team and travel to New York this fall! The AHS Color Guard is having auditions Monday through Thursday April 25-28 from 5pm-7pm in the AHS Band Room. You do not need experience to join! I repeat, YOU DO NOT NEED EXPERIENCE TO JOIN.
