iready winter diagnostic

i-Ready TestingRiver Trail will administer the i-Ready Middle of the Year Diagnostics to all students on November 29 (Reading) and December 1 (Math) in Wolfpack.  Students will need to bring their fully charged laptop, charger, and earbuds/headphones to school for the diagnostic. Students should use this opportunity to show their teachers how much they have grown this year.   I-Ready is our universal screener and student performance data will be used as part of the Continuous Achievement process. A universal screener lets us know if students need extra support such as RTI, Extended Learning, and ABE classes.  Students should do their best work on the diagnostics if they want to show us that they don’t need the extra support.  I-Ready data is one of several pieces of data that appear in the Continuous Achievement dashboard that can impact efforts for acceleration. Students should do their best on the diagnostic so the data accurately reflects what they know and can do.The day before the diagnostic:Re-start the device at least 2 timesCheck to ensure the headphones/earbuds are working correctlyRun a systems check for i-Ready by clicking on this link in the student device: Run Systems CheckFully charge the device overnightEnsure that the student bring their laptop, charger, and headphones/earbuds to school for testing on Monday, Nov. 29
