STUDENT CHECK OUT PROCESS FROM RIVERWOOD

1. Any student checking out early is required to provide a parent-signed, written note to the attendance office before school begins.  Emails, faxes and phone calls are not accepted.
2. Please include in your note the date, student name, reason for checkout, parent/guardian name & signature, and phone number where the parent can be reached for parent verification. 
3. Students will not be allowed to leave if parents cannot be reached for verification.
4. The student will receive a checkout pass to show their teacher when it is time to check out. 
5. Walk-ins to check a student out of school must have a valid, government issued, picture identification. Please bear in mind that walk-in checkouts may experience significant delays.
