Blended Learning

Fulton County Schools will introduce a Blended Learning instructional model at McClarin Success Academy, in the Fall of 2019.

Blended Learning combines the structure and support of face-to-face instruction with the flexibility and personalization that online learning provides. Through this model students will have more flexibility to learn at their own pace and focus on their individual academic needs. In addition, it provides teachers with the tools to break away from the traditional lecture approach to instruction. Implementing the new model at McClarin will allow teachers to focus on smaller groups during the class period so that students can get the personal attention needed.

There are many ways to implement blended learning, and we are in the process of designing the structure of our instructional model to meet the specific needs of our students. We are committed to keeping you informed as we make progress. We will add a section on the school’s website to share updates so that you are as educated as possible on how to prepare for the new school year.
