Monday, September 20, 2021, is the first Late Start Day of the school year. On late start days, the first period will begin one hour later than usual for students. During this time, teachers will be meeting with their teams for professional learning and collaboration.
Buses will continue to operate on the regular schedule during late start dates; however, parents can choose to transport their child to school by the scheduled late start time, 9:20 am. Students arriving early on Monday will be directed to the cafeteria, where they will be supervised until the school day begins.
In addition, on Monday, September 20, 2021, we will begin split lunch periods as part of the COVID Mitigating Protocols. Students will be assigned either an “A” lunch or a “B” lunch period. If a student has an “A” lunch, they will report to the cafeteria for lunch at the beginning of their lunch period. Halfway through the period, they will be instructed to report to their assigned teacher for the remainder of the period. Students with “B” lunch periods will first report to their assigned teacher and have lunch the second half of the period.
