For Final Exams

Courses that require a final or midterm examination can be found HERE.

• The number of final exams each student can exempt is determined by their grade level in Infinite Campus.
• Students may exempt the final exam in any face-to-face class in which they meet the following criteria.
  • An unweighted average of 90% or higher as of Wednesday, 12/7/2022 and maintained through the end of the semester.
  • No ISS or OSS during the current semester.
  • No major honor code violations during the school year in the class.
• Exemption is by period/class. It is possible to meet the requirements in one class, but not another class. 
• No exemptions for Dual Enrollment or Virtual classes.
• Student must take the End of Course test, if required for the class.
• A student that newly enrolls after 30 school days OR transfers in after 30 school days without a transfer grade is not eligible to exempt a final exam.
• Possible exemption does not excuse a student from regular class periods after 12/7/2022. An exemption only allows a student to miss the exam period for the exempted class. If a student is found to be missing class after 12/7/2022 exemption may be reconsidered by the student’s administrator.
• Students with assignments that are eligible for submission must be turned in by Friday, 12/2/2022 or they may not be eligible to exempt the final exam.

For Gradable Experiences

• Students may exempt the gradable experience in any face-to-face class in which they meet the following criteria:
  • An unweighted average of 90% or above as of Tuesday, 12/13/2022.
• Exemption is by period/class. It is possible to meet the requirements in one class, but not another class.
• The teacher will notify students eligible to exempt the gradable experience by Tuesday, 12/13/2022.
• Students with assignments that are eligible for submission must be turned in by Friday, 12/9/2022 or they may not be eligible to exempt the gradable experience.
