300 Student Vocalists Join District-Wide Choral Clinic
In celebration of Music in our School Month this March, and Fulton County Schools music teachers will present their 17th annual Fulton County Choral Clinic, held Saturday, March 16 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. at Dolvin Elementary School for 300 student musicians. The theme is “Broadway Beat”, and the event promises to be a day of fun, entertainment, camaraderie and lots of singing. Participants will attend four sessions in which they will learn about vocal warm-ups, proper breathing, vocal tone production and choreography. At the end of the day, students will perform for their parents, principals and teachers.
This event is supported by the Fulton Arts Support Team and was open to all chorus clubs and fourth and fifth grade chorus students throughout Fulton County Schools without an audition. This year’s clinicians are Anna Trude, Sally Petty and Mike Rostin, music teachers from Heards Ferry Elementary, Shakerag Elementary and Cogburn Woods Elementary Schools, respectively.
