Mr. Marquez Haley

Mr. Marcquez Haley is a native of Georgia, born and raised in rural Gainesville, and has lived in Metro-Atlanta for much of his post-undergraduate life. Mr. Haley completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia in 2011. Mr. Haley taught both 3rd and 4th grades while obtaining his Master of Arts in Education degree with a concentration in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia and completing his Tier I Leadership Add-On Certification from Georgia State University in 2018. He is currently enrolled as a Doctoral student at Georgia State University in their Educational Leadership Ed. D. Program, with an expected completion date of May 2024.

After obtaining his Leadership Certification, Mr. Haley began his leadership journey as an Administrative Assistant at Centennial High School in Roswell, GA. He further developed his skills as a leader by serving as the school’s Math Department Administrator and Student Support Team (S.S.T.) Administrator. He also served as the P.B.I.S. Administrator and has served as the P.B.I.S. Coach in his former roles. As a Behavior Program Specialist, Mr. Haley has worked with several stakeholders in the Fulton County community and has gained a wide array of knowledge and ways to educate the whole child truly.

Mr. Haley loves spending time with his wife, their young daughter, and their Goldendoodle, Dice. As a Georgia native, Mr. Haley is a huge Atlanta sports fan. As a two-time graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Haley loves to support the Bulldogs during football season and other sports. He enjoys attending sporting events, playing the drums, and traveling with his wife and family in his spare time. He also enjoys participating in charitable events with his fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, in which he has been a proud member since 2009. Mr. Haley is eagerly looking forward to supporting the Woodland Elementary students, parents, and community. Go Wildcats!

Mrs. Tara Uremovich

Tara Uremovich has served in Fulton County Schools for the past 6 years, serving most recently as the Curriculum Support Teacher at Woodland Elementary School. In this role she has gathered and used data to support the curriculum, instruction, and learning for all students and staff. Additional roles she has held in her career as an educator have been Instructional Coach, STEM coordinator, and teacher. She has also collaborated with Fulton County Schools to create resources aligned to Georgia’s math standards and partnered with the Georgia Department of Education to support STEM education across the state. 

In 2014, she graduated with a master's degree in Urban Teacher Leadership from Georgia State University. With this degree and her experience, she developed a passion for being a life-long learner. She is a mom of two and is determined to help families and the community come together to achieve the highest levels of success.
