Early Intervention Program
Palmetto Elementary School recognizes that children come to school at different stages of development and do not all learn at the same rate or with the same methods of teaching.
The Early Intervention Program provides additional instructional support to help address the individual needs of students in the areas of reading and math. Our goal is to help the student achieve grade level performance in the shortest amount of time.
Early Intervention Teachers:
- Support classroom lessons
- Provide small group intensive instruction
- Utilize various instructional materials and activities
- Model strategies that strengthen Reading and Math skills
