Accreditation
Fulton County Schools is a part of the Cognia Accreditation Network. Cognia’s accreditation process is based on a set of rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria. The FCS accreditation process examines both the district as a whole and the individual schools. The accreditation process reviews district policies, practices, learning conditions, operations, and culture, and helps support the district’s focus on continuous improvement.
Fulton County Schools is accredited through the 2023-2024 school year. At the conclusion of that accreditation period, the district will begin an internal and external review process to renew our status through Cognia.
