Internal Audit

The Internal Audit Department is an independent appraisal function established within the School System.

Our mission is to examine and evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and economy of the Fulton County School System's activities as a service to management, and in fulfillment of its obligation to the Superintendent, Fulton County Board Of Education and the Audit Committee of the Board.

The objective of the internal audit function is to assist all levels of management of the school system in the effective discharge of their responsibilities by providing independent analysis, appraisals, recommendations, advice, and information concerning the activities reviewed and by promoting effective control at a reasonable cost.
