New Diabetes Information from the GaDOE and DPH 2024-2025 School Year:

GaDOE’s Office of Whole Child Supports in conjunction with the Department of Public Health has developed a Diabetes Informational one-pager as required by recent legislation from HB 1183.  Per HB 1183, this information is being shared and copies of the flyers can be provided to parents and guardians for students in grades 6-12 (because we also share information on immunizations, infectious diseases, medications, and other school health issues). FCS District Health Services referenced this information in the 2024-2025 Health Services Information letter.
