FCS Technology Competition
Important Competition Information:
COMPETITION OVERVIEW
- All students in grades 3-12 can participate
- Students can compete individually or as a team of 2 (max)
- Students may submit ONE project
- Students and their parents will take care of their own registration (coming soon)
- Students/Parents will have 1 month to register (February 1-28th)
- Students/Parents will have 1 week to submit projects (March 1- March 7)
- Students will VIDEO RECORD themselves presenting their project for judges to watch virtually
- Be sure students follow all PROJECT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES (set by the state competition)
- Judging window will take place March 15- March 29 (two-week window)
- Judging will be virtual

Entries are being accepted starting Monday, January 6th through Friday, February 7th.Unfortunately, NO LATE ENTRIES CAN BE ACCEPTED, as MBES must judge & forward results for all grade levels to Fulton County Humanities Department shortly after the February 7th deadline. i-Ready Distinguished School for Remote Learning Success!
Medlock Bridge Elementary School has been identified by the Curriculum Associates Research team as a 2020 National i-Ready Distinguished School for Remote Learning Success! From March 15th until May 22nd, Medlock Bridge teachers, students, and parents worked together to keep students engaged and learning Reading and Mathematics through the i-Ready platform. Over 90% of our students remained connected. This effort saw typical students complete 35 lessons or more each with an 80% pass rate. Medlock Bridge is very proud of this collaborative accomplishment during a very challenging three months.

Library Book Pickup
If students wish to check out books from the media center, they just need to fill out this form. Books will be waiting for them at the packet pickup on Fridays. (Orders must be in by noon on Thursday).

2020-2021 New K-5 Student Registration
Registration for new students in grades K – 5 will be held on April 1st from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and April 2nd from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Currently enrolled MBES Pre-K students do not need to attend kindergarten registration.

2020-2021 Student Transfers to other FC school
If you are transferring from Medlock Bridge Elementary School to another Fulton County School for the 2020 - 2021 go to the Parent Portal and complete the on line transfer information. You will need to contact the new Fulton County school and provide them any documentation they may need to complete the registration.
If you are not going to attend Medlock Bridge Elementary School for the 2020-2021 school year and will not be in Fulton County, you must complete and sign the Withdrawal form. To obtain a copy of the Withdrawal Form please email Susan LeBaron at lebarons@fultonschools.org. You will complete and sign the document and email it to her along with a copy of your drivers license or passport.

Report a Concern
You can submit an ANONYMOUS TIP to school and district officials through our FCS Tip Line App. Whether it's about bullying, a friend in need of counseling, or suspicious/illegal behavior observed on campus, you can let us know without having to reveal your identity.

Medlock Bridge PTO
Why Join the PTO? It’s your sign of support of all of the events and academic enrichment we provide to Medlock Bridge each year. There are no meetings and no volunteer requirement. It’s an easy way to help our students and support the school! Memberships range from $20-$250.
What is Membership Toolkit?
A PTO Management system (including a mobile app available on iPhone or Android) that will provide parents with a central location for contact information, volunteering, and purchasing items such as spirit wear and memberships.

How to use Toolkit:
You can either access Toolkit online at https://medlockbridgepto.membershiptoolkit.com or you can download the Toolkit App for your phone.
- Go to https://medlockbridgepto.membershiptoolkit.com.
- Click on the Register/Login button.
- If you already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit you can use the same email and password to login. You can then proceed to the numbered steps below.
- Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
- Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
- Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.
- Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information.
- Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.
- Once these forms are complete, you will be presented with forms for PTO Membership, Spirit Wear, and Volunteer Opportunities.
- Once the Primary Account is set up, thePrimary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.

All persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District are required to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process. Click here for more information.

The Infinite Campus portals - Campus Parent and Campus Student - provide access to information for all enrolled students in their household. Information includes grades, attendance, assignments, and school announcements.
