Early Dismissal Policy/Procedure
Parents, just a gentle reminder that all doctor/dentist and other appointments should be scheduled for before of after school hours. We understand that at times there is a need for appointments to be made during instruction time. During these emergencies the following procedures are important for both the safety of our students and staff and for minimal disruption of instruction time:
-Please write a note to the attendance office requesting your child to be dismissed at a particular time. The note should include the date, time and reason for early dismissal.
-Have your child bring the note to the office prior to the beginning of school so that we may take the steps necessary to have your child at the office and ready for you to pick up.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter. These easy steps will help to make early dismissal run smoothly for both you and the school. Remember no students should be checked out after 3:45pm. Any questions, please contact the Front Office.
"Souper" Bowl Food Drive
January 27-31, 2020
Join us the week of Monday, January 27 to celebrate the 54th Super Bowl. Help us change the game and tackle hunger by donating canned goods or non-perishable food items to help support North Atlanta Food Bank. Bring donations to the café. Our goal is to collect at least 1000 items.
All students who donate will receive 5 PBIS points per item.
Students who bring 5 or more items on any day will receive 25 additional bonus points.

In addition, Tuesday, March 24, 2020 is now a county wide Teacher Work Day. Students will not attend school.
Tuesday April 21 and Tuesday, May 20, 2020 are Digital Learning Days. Students will work from home. Students will be provided with assignments to complete while at home. Specific information will be sent home one week prior to Digital Learning Days.
All persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District are required to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process. The registration process can be found on the FCS District Website under Community/Partners & Volunteers or click on the Volunteer global icon. Applicants should be prepared to spend about 10-15 minutes for the training and application process. In accordance with State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in our schools. It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or "goes by" names on the application). All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval.
