WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT: Fulton County School System to open on two-hour delay for Tuesday, December 11

Out of an abundance of caution, and in alignment with Governor Deal’s announcement that state offices will open late, the school district will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, December 11. The National Weather Service has warned that several metro Atlanta counties may have black ice on roads as temperatures drop below freezing early morning. Buses will operate on a two-hour delay. The school day will end at its normal time. Employees should arrive to work no later than two hours from their scheduled start time. The FCS Weather Team will continue to monitor the situation. Check back here for any updates. [12/10/18  3:56 p.m.]
