“First of ALL, Servants of ALL, We Shall Transend ALL”

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., is the first intercollegiate historically Black Greek Letter organization.  Alpha Phi Alpha was founded on December 4, 1906 by seven men at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Our motto: “First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All”

Alpha Phi Alpha dedicated itself to defend the rights and to promote the responsibilities of young men and people in our communities.

The Tau Gamma Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, was chartered on July 17, 2021.

Mission:

Educate students, youth and adults through various programs in which will help students and community grow and develop. Our area of coverage includes Sandy Springs, Roswell, and Alpharetta communities.

The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Tau Gamma Lambda Chapter has adopted Independence High School. We will help to further the programs of the fraternity and the students at Independence High School.  Our Programs Includes Financial Literacy, Business Networking Tips, Business Dress for Success, Leadership, Vote Less People is a Hopeless People, Go to High School Go to College, Entrepreneurship and the Think Tank.

We would like to thank Mrs. Taylor and Independence High School for excepting us. We look forward to a great partnership.
