• Hello and thank you for your interest in the North Springs High School Magnet Program. We are eager to welcome our newest Spartans as they embark on their high school journey in the Fall of 2021. Please click the If your student is currently attending a FCS school, please note that all supporting documentation needed to process applications will be sent directly to our Magnet Coordinate, Mr. James Landreau, from the county. However,  if you are applying from any other school not in FCS (Private, Home school, or out of state*) We will need you to also submit the following supporting documents in addition to completing the Magnet application:


    • An Academic Transcript
    • An Attendance Record
    • A Discipline Record
    • A Standardized Test Score Report (from 7th  grade)


    These documents can be mailed to the school with “Attn: James Landreau, Magnet Coordinator” through USPS or scanned/emailed to our coordinator using the email listed below.


    Also, please note that your current mailing address MUST be zoned or a Fulton county public school. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from out of FCS district, which includes the Atlanta Public Schools district.


    (* if you are currently attending a school out of state but moving in to the district, please be aware that your new mailing address must be a Fulton County Schools zoned address.)

    What to Expect

    During your time in the North Springs Magnet Program, you will have the opportunity to work alongside students that share your vision, interest, and passion in our various curricular offerings. Additionally, you will have a great support team of teachers and staff who are working professionals in their fields both inside and outside of the classroom as well as work with your guidance counselor and magnet coordinator to help keep you on track both academically and physically as they guide you through the courses you need to complete the magnet requirements.

    We are so excited that you are choosing our program to further your education needs and to prepare you for the academic standards of college and the career world!

    As you navigate the Magnet pages, you will find detailed information about the requirements of our Magnet programs. We offer 3 Magnet tracks: 1. Math and Science Magnet (M/S), 2. Visual and Performing Arts Magnet (VPA), or 3. Dual Magnet (Both Math/Science and Visual/Performing Arts (Dual).
