     21st Century Learning:

As the world changes, so do the essential skills our students need to be successful. This is the 21st Century, and as educators, we want to ensure our students learn the essential skills, knowledge, and dispositions needed to succeed in their adult life. We are currently preparing students for careers that may not even exist yet, and to solve problems we may not even know are problems yet. Teachers are incorporating 21st-century skills such as; communication, collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity along with course content. Today's classroom may be more personalized than what you might recall from your own high school learning experience. Today teachers facilitate learning to individual students' needs, skills, and interests. This shift in instructional practice is a journey, and we invite you to experience a taste of 21st Century Learning through our Learning Classrooms at Open House.

    Student Schedules:

In keeping with 21st century learning, we’re going green at Cambridge! With the introduction of Infinite Campus and the new Campus Parent and Student apps, we are asking parents and guardians to access their student’s schedule through Campus or ask your student to provide their schedule with room numbers. The school will not provide printed copies of student schedules for this event. During the evening, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to walk their students’ schedule and visit with our teachers. Having your student’s schedule accessible will be helpful.  Maps of the school are available in the hallways, and printed maps will also be available.

Infinite Campus and Parent/Student Campus Apps:

Over the summer, parent/guardians of current student received an email from Fulton County School, inviting them to create their Campus Parent account. Newly enrolled families would have received this email upon completion of their enrollment.  Please check your junk/spam folders if you did not receive this email  If you have not completed your account activation, access the link on the email you received, or visit: www.fultonschools.org/infinitecampus to complete the registration with your activation key. If you did not receive your activation key via email, visit our front office to receive your activation key. Due to the confidentiality of the information, parents/guardians must appear in person and provide a photo ID to receive this code.

    Parking:

We are expecting a large number of parents to attend the Open House, so please plan for a crowded parking lot. The access road from Hwy. 9 will be open beginning at 5:00 pm. Stonecreek Church’s parking lot can also be used as overflow parking. Please note that the office building parking lot next to Stonecreek is not available for parking.
