Mrs. Salvatore is the media specialist here at Crabapple. This is Mrs. Salvatore's first year as the Crabapple METI, but she taught 8th grade Language Arts here for 7 years before that. Before Crabbapple, Mrs. Salvatore taught ELA at Holcomb Bridge Middle School. She graduated from Clemson University with degree in English. Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series, Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables, and The Selection series. When not in the library, Mrs. Salvatore is spending time with her husband and young children, walking her dog Leia, or watching sports. 

Mrs. Jennifer Newman is our part-time Media Center Para-Professional. She was a Language Arts/Social Studies middle school teacher for sixteen years in California and Georgia and was also the METI at Elkins Pointe Middle in Roswell. As a graduate of the University of Georgia and Brenau University, she loves all things Georgia Bulldogs and Braves, a homemade peach anything, and ironically craves Chick-Fil-A on Sundays. In her spare time, Mrs. Newman enjoys hiking on the mountain trails of North Carolina and Roswell parks with her husband and dog, Goose. When she’s not on a hike, she loves to read any type of genre (except Science-Fiction) and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Newman is most excited to start her third year at Crabapple Middle with our new METI, Mrs. Becky Salvatore.
