Ms. Kimberly H. Premoli

Kimberly H. Premoli began her career in education as an English teacher at Chattahoochee High School in 2003; she then served as English Department Chair at Roswell High School for several years before opening Cambridge High School in 2012. Ms. Premoli served as Cambridge's first English Department Chair, taught English, and advised the yearbook before transitioning to a building-level leader in 2013. As an assistant principal, Ms. Premoli's leadership has focused in the areas of curriculum and instruction, student support and leadership, collaboration, and personalized learning. She also served as School Governance Council Chairperson in 2017-2018.

Ms. Premoli was recognized as NWLC Assistant Principal of the Year for her leadership, passion, and creativity.

Ms. Premoli is a native of Atlanta; she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Georgia, a Master in Education from Mercer University, and a Specialist in Education in Leadership from Georgia State University. Ms. Premoli is the wife of Pierpaolo Premoli and has two children: Georgia (16) and Piero (9).

Ms. Premoli is committed to moving Cambridge forward by continuing to support the well-established teaching and learning culture which has made it a place of excellence for all students. She is very visible in the school community and looks forward to greeting each and every Cambridge Bear soon!

Ms. Shavanda Toomer

Ms. Toomer received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Special Education from Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta GA.  She holds an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Ms.  Toomer has taught special education at the elementary level.  She has also served as an Instructional Support Teacher for Special Education across the elementary, middle and high school levels.  For the past ten years, Ms. Toomer has served as the assistant principal at Sweet Apple Elementary School in Roswell.  Ms. Toomer will be the 9th-grade administrator and Curriculum administrator.

Ms. Jennifer Beard

Ms. Jennifer Beard began her professional career in corporate America after earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University.  She began her career in education as a teacher in Gwinnett County Public Schools in 2006 and earned her Master of Education degree from Brenau University in 2009.  During Ms. Beard’s 8 years as a classroom teacher in both Gwinnett and Fulton County Schools, she earned many prestigious accolades including Georgia Certified Master Teacher and Microsoft Innovative Educator.  Ms. Beard then served students at the district level for three years, supporting students with learning differences through her position in the Assistive Technology Department.  She has served our community as an Assistant Principal since 2017 and is pursuing her Tier II Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from University of North Georgia.

Mr. Darius Maize

Darius D. Maize is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  Mr. Maize graduated from Frederick Douglass High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Alabama A & M University.  He also holds a Master's Degree in Education Leadership and Administration.  His career in education began in Atlanta Public Schools, serving Booker T. Washington High School for eight years and Carver School of Health Sciences and Research for two years as a Social Studies teacher, coach, and mentor.  For the last three years, Mr. Maize served the Lithia Springs High School community in Douglas County Schools as the School Improvement Grant Instructional Coach for Social Studies.

Dr. David Goldie

Dr. Goldie began his career in education as a primary school teacher in Plymouth, England. He served for ten years as a teacher then administrator in England prior to joining Fulton County Schools in 2005. He has taught at Mimosa, and Cogburn Woods Elementary Schools as well as Taylor Road, and Hopewell Middle Schools. He was appointed Assistant Principal at Taylor Road Middle School in 2012. Dr. Goldie moved to Fulton County Schools District Office 2015 as Accountability Coordinator within the Strategy and Innovation Division. He was subsequently appointed to the Office of the Superintendent to coordinate district educational policy and government/legislative affairs.

Dr. Goldie earned a Bachelor of Education Honors Degree from the College of St. Mark and St. John, England, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. Dr. Goldie is married to Nancy, and they have two young children.

Dr. Goldie is very excited to become a new member of the Cambridge community and is looking forward to supporting all students, staff, and families to ensure that every Cambridge student can pursue their goals and reach their true potential.

Dr. Ellen Kerr

Ellen A. Kerr was born and raised in Charleston, SC and received her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the College of Charleston.  She moved to Atlanta to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology where she received a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry.  Dr. Kerr began her career in K-12 education as a Chemistry teacher at Northview High School in 2002; she then served as Science Department Chair at Roswell High School for several years before moving to open Cambridge High School in 2012.  Dr. Kerr currently serves as Cambridge's Science Department Chair and teaches Advanced Placement Chemistry.  She also serves as a Fulton County Learning Architect in Chemistry.  During the 2018-2019 school year, Dr. Kerr served as the Cambridge’s School Governance Council chair. 

Dr. Kerr is married to Pete Quinlan and has three children: Emilie, Andrew and Sarah, and three stepsons: Peter, Kevin, and Ian.
