Mrs. Evans is a Florida native, but a transplanted Georgian by way
of the 1996 Olympics. She began her teaching career with Cobb
County at her alma mater Pebblebrook High School.
She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of
West Georgia in both history and education, as well as an
Educational Leadership Specialist degree from Berry College.
Mrs. Evans has been I an educator for over 14 years and in 2015,
she joined Fulton County Schools as an administrator at Riverwood International Charter School. She has
served as an assistant principal for the past seven years helping students and adults feel loved,
supported, and motivated to achieve at their highest level. She is ready to continue this work at Bethune
Elementary School.
Mrs. Evans is committed to fostering an environment where all students, staff, and parents feel valued
and heard. She has a passion for helping students reach their full potential through meaningful
instruction and social emotional learning.
Mrs. Evans looks forward to meeting everyone in the Bethune Elementary family. The amazing students,
dedicated teachers and staff, and caring community have made Bethune Elementary such a wonderful
school, and Mrs. Evans is excited to join this awesome team. – GO PANTHERS!
