Independence High School

Thank you for your interest in Independence High School, North Fulton County’s non-traditional school of choice. The instructional program of Independence is organized on a semester plan and employs a Blended Learning format to provide students with a flexible and supportive learning environment.  In Blended Learning, students learn through two processes, the online delivery of content and instruction, and the more traditional classroom approach.  The online method gives students more control over the time, place, path, and/or pace of their learning. The supervised, face-to-face classroom method gives students the one-on-one attention and personal connections needed to support their progress.
