Color Guard Mr. Bryant Use of props along with movement to express dynamic passages in the music accompanying the marching band show. Drama Club Mr. Bryant and Mr. Hughley Drama Club will make live theater accessible to all children, enable young people to gain an appreciation for the arts, and increase self-confidence, self-esteem, and give them a sense of responsibility. 7th and 8th Grade students must have a recommendation letter from a teacher. Jazz Band Dr. Chang The HBMS Jazz Band is designed to introduce jazz and popular music to HBMS students Able to play an instrument used in the Jazz Band. Get permission form and more info. from Dr. Chang (Band Room) Band Room Every Tuesday 7:55-8:40 am
Jr. Beta Club Ms. Aubain and Ms. Caskey To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among students. Students must make all A’s or B’s from the previous year and have no contact grade lower than C2. Club is by invitation only. PALS Club Ms. Hilpertshauser Club for special needs students to socialize and become friends with all student in the school. We will play board games, color, read books, make crafts, and have some socials. Reading Bowl Mrs. Farooqi and Mrs. Lee For students who like to read! We will read all of the GA Book Award Nominees and participate in a competition in January. Get permission form and more info. from Mrs. Farooqi (Media Center) Media Center Every Thursday at 8:00 am. Club ends at the end of January.
Student Council Ms. Henderson Student Council members will participate and plan several events. Members will represent their peers during meetings with faculty, PTA, administrators, and community leaders. Members are expected to behave responsibly and conduct themselves as good representatives of HBMS. Need Completed application form, 3 teacher recommendations, typed 100-word essay, Interview with sponsor or administrator, Conduct grades (no 3s in conduct, no bus or school suspensions), Officers must have 80 or higher in each academic area and no failing grades in connections classes, Representatives must have 75 or higher in each academic area and no failing grades in connections classes.

Math Club Dr. Newton o stimulate students' math curiosity and positive attitudes toward math. Students will use peer collaboration and student based activities to prepare for math competitions and tournaments. Aca-Eagles A Cappella Singing Club Ms. Wood Aca-Eagles is a singing ensemble that gives you the chance to sing your favorite songs with your friends! A cappella is music performed without instruments, so we will create all of the sounds with our voices. If you've ever thought about singing or just want to try it out, this is the club for you! Get permission form from Ms. Wood (Chorus Room). Anyone with an interest in singing. You do not need to be in chorus or have singing experience! Chorus Fridays 7:45 am
Jewish Club Ms. Morgan and Rabbi Hertz from Chabad of North Fulton The Jewish Middle Schoolers Club will be a fun morning with other members of the tribe. We have some delicious food, do a fun Jewish craft, and talk about a Jewish tradition or upcoming holiday. Get permisson form from Ms. Morgan (Room 73). Room 73 Mondays once a month from 8:15-8:45 am
Pride Over Prejudice Mrs. Gordon oin us in empowering each other and promoting the active participation of members of the school community to integrate human rights values and principles into all areas of school life.
