Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA)
Dear Westlake Parents, Teachers, Students and Community Members:
Welcome aboard as we prepare for an exciting academic year! We recognize it takes the time and work of many to make a positive impact and create successful opportunities for our students and community. The PTSA is geared up and ready to support the school through a number of programs and initiatives to improve the overall experience for all stakeholders.
Purpose:
To promote the welfare of children & youth in home, school, and throughout the community.
To advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.
To promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children & youth.
To engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children & youth.
Your membership with the Westlake PTSA (https://westlakehs.memberhub.store) will ensure that the following strategic planning focus areas will be enhanced:
- Improve family engagement.
- Advocate on behalf of Westlake students, faculty, staff, parents, & stakeholders.
- Support Westlake and feeder school academic programs.
- Educate parents, students, & community on the value of PTSA membership.
Teamwork and open communication are keys to our success. If you are interested in volunteering, please do not hesitate to contact the Westlake HS PTSA Executive Committee.
