• Principal's Message

Dear Sandy Springs Charter Middle School Family,

I am extremely excited and humbled to be selected as the new Principal of Sandy Springs Charter Middle School.

Sandy Springs Charter Middle School has a growing reputation of outstanding academic achievement and a community presence that I look forward to increasing for years to come. I eagerly await the opportunity to meet and collaborate with the students, staff, families and community stakeholders that make Sandy Springs Charter Middle a coveted school. I will immediately begin developing a process for providing timely and frequent communication with students, staff and parents and work with the administrative team to ensure a successful transition for the remainder of this semester and into the spring.

I have 15 years of educational experience, 11 of which has been served in Fulton County Schools. I am a native of Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida.  I received my graduate degree in Exceptional Student Education from Nova Southeastern University and Specialist degree in Education Leadership.

My career began as a high school special education teacher with Hillsborough County Schools in Tampa, Florida. After relocating to Atlanta, I began working at Centennial High School in Roswell and served in many roles; including teacher, intervention specialist, graduation coach, department chair and Assistant Principal. I most recently served as principal of Camp Creek Middle School for 3 years. I am also a proud husband to my wife Demi and a dedicated father to my 5 year old twins Kelsey and Collin.

I am committed to serving students, parents, and communities and believe in the power of partnership, accountability, and collaboration.  I am an advocate for building a positive school culture that fosters shared decision making and professional learning communities. I will be coordinating meet and greet opportunities in the very near future and I look forward to meeting all of you soon.

    Warm regards,

    Keynun Campbell, Ed.S
