• Hello CHS Family,

I would like to welcome you all to the 2019-2020 school year. I am honored to be serving as the principal of Centennial High School. This is my 21st year in education. I’ve served in both a teacher and administrative capacity. My career has taken me from New Jersey to California and over to Georgia. I have a passion for all things education but love educational technology. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with companies like Microsoft and New Classrooms in developing products that will aid students in education. To properly prepare our students for their ever changing future, I believe we must instill in them the 4 C’s: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication. These skills will give our students the edge they need in this increasingly competitive world we live in.

We are poised for a wonderful school year. Our mission is to work collaboratively to provide all students rigorous personalized educational experiences, high levels of learning, and competencies necessary to be globally competitive in the 21st century. For those of you who are new to the community, Centennial is a special place, full of diversity and opportunities for all. Whether you’re a gamer/game designer or an athlete, there is a place for you here at CHS.  Please know that our teachers and staff are committed to constructing meaningful learning experiences that will promote student success inside and outside of the classroom.

This year we will continue to focus on academic achievement. Our goal is to constantly improve. We know that these are very important years in the lives of our students and want to maximize our impact. From using data to help with decision making, to planning relevant instructional units, our teachers will push themselves, each other, and their students toward excellence.

To do these things we need your help and we cannot wait to partner with you. We encourage you to get involved, join the PTSA, SGC, Booster Clubs. Attend a play, games, curriculum nights. The possibilities are endless. I want to personally thank you for entrusting us to educate your child(ren). As I mentioned before, Centennial is an amazing place that will only get better. Continue to have a great day on purpose. Go Knights!
