We have received a variety of questions about the Georgia Milestones testing & how this will look for both face to face and virtual learners. Please see below for imformation:
Q. How do parents opt out of their student completing GMAS testing?
A. Parents must email Ms. Brinkley stating that they would like their student to opt out of testing.
Q. Should F2F learners that have opted out of testing report to school regularly or will they have to be remote learners?
A. F2F learners should report to school.
Q. What is the plan for remote learners that are testing?
A. Remote learners will report to school during the day and sit in with their homeroom or come in for after school testing.
Q. If students have opted out of the test, will they be required to participate in the Practice exam?
A. Yes, the practice exam is just to measure the capacity of our servers as a district. It is not a graded or weighted test held against any student.
Q. What type of instruction will be available to virtual students?
