2026–27 Redistricting, Consolidation and Closure Process
Redrawing attendance zone boundaries is a necessary, periodic process that helps Fulton County Schools respond to enrollment trends and plan for the future. The district is organized into three geographic regions (A, B and C):
- Geographic Region A includes schools located south of the City of Atlanta.
- Geographic Region B includes schools located north of the City of Atlanta and south of the Chattahoochee River.
- Geographic Region C includes schools located north of the Chattahoochee River.
During Fall 2026 and Winter 2027, the district is conducting planning and community engagement work in Geographic Regions A and C.
Information about schools, community forums, informational flyers and materials presented to the Fulton County Board of Education is organized by region below.
