Closure/Consolidation and Redistricting - South Fulton (Fall 2024)
Overview
In September 2024, the Fulton County School Board directed district staff to engage the community about the possible closure and consolidation of Parklane Elementary School due to increasingly low enrollment and aging facility conditions.
With this in mind, community forums are set for the fall of 2024 to explain the rationale and involve stakeholders in drawing potential new attendance zones for surrounding schools that would go into effect in the 2025-26 school year.
