FCS Charter Schools Petition Process and Timeline
2026-2027 New/Start-Up Petition Important Dates:
- 3rd Friday in June – Letter of Intent (LOI) Submission-June 19, 2026. (Electronic submission will be accepted by due date).
- 3rd Friday* in January – New Petition Application Submission-January 15, 2027. * Per FCS Policy/Procedure petition must be delivered in person to FCS Charter School Department at the Fulton County Schools Administration Center on due date before 12:00 p.m. (noon).
