The Fulton County Leadership Academy is dedicated to developing and empowering leaders at all levels of our district. Through targeted development, essential skill-building, and networking opportunities, we cultivate leaders who embody our core leadership competencies: Building Authentic Relationships, Communicating Effectively and Transparently, Leading with Intentionality, and Planning and Executing Strategically. Guided by these principles, our MISSION is to equip aspiring and new leaders to execute the Fulton County Schools Strategic Plan effectively and foster a culture of excellence and positive change across our schools.

The Fulton County Schools Aspiring Principals Program is committed to preparing future school leaders who exemplify integrity, foster collaborative cultures, and lead with accountability. Grounded in the Fulton Leader Profile, the program cultivates visionary educators who are student-focused, results-driven, and equity-centered. Through rigorous leadership development, experiential learning, and strategic mentorship, we empower aspiring principals to build trust, drive continuous improvement, and lead schools where every student thrives.

 

The Aspiring Non-Instructional Leader Program at Fulton County Schools is dedicated to empowering our non-instructional employees to become impactful leaders. Through targeted development and a focus on our core leadership competencies—Building Authentic Relationships, Communicating Effectively and Transparently, Leading with Intentionality, and Planning and Executing Strategically—we aim to drive positive change and help our candidates achieve their professional aspirations. Our mission is to cultivate a community of leaders who are prepared to navigate challenges and inspire excellence across our schools. 

The Fulton County Schools Aspiring Assistant Principals Program is designed to cultivate emerging leaders who act with integrity, lead through collaboration, and take ownership of results. Anchored in the Fulton Leader Profile, the program equips educators with the mindset, skills, and support needed to lead schools where every student can succeed. Through immersive learning, reflective practice, and a strong leadership network, aspiring assistant principals are prepared to build inclusive school cultures, strengthen instructional excellence, and contribute meaningfully to the district’s mission.   

 

The Fulton County Schools New Principals Program is dedicated to developing principled and effective school leaders who embody integrity, uphold accountability, and foster a culture of teamwork. Through comprehensive leadership development, collaborative learning experiences, and ongoing support, we prepare new principals to lead with transparency, build trust within their communities, and drive student achievement through shared responsibility and collective action.

The Fulton County Schools Aspiring Instructional Coaches Program is committed to developing future coaching leaders who support teaching and learning through integrity, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making. Participants engage deeply with the FCS coaching process and explore the multifaceted roles of instructional leadership, professional development, and assessment facilitation. Through an innovative and supportive model, aspiring coaches are empowered to apply new skills in real-world contexts, foster meaningful partnerships, and drive continuous improvement in every classroom, resulting in increased student outcomes.

The Fulton County Schools New Assistant Principals Program empowers emerging leaders to serve with honesty, collaborate with purpose, and lead with a strong sense of responsibility. Rooted in the Fulton Leader Profile, the program fosters the development of reflective, student-centered professionals who build inclusive school environments, support instructional excellence, and contribute to a culture of continuous growth. Through structured learning, peer collaboration, and mentorship, new assistant principals are equipped to lead with clarity, compassion, and impact.
