Badge Replacement

It is Board policy that a current, valid district issued badge must be worn visibly at all times while on FCS property by all employees, substitutes, contractors, community coaches, PTA/PTO board members, SGC members and unsupervised volunteers. If a badge has an expiration date, the badge must be replaced at the time of expiration by completing all requirements to obtain the badge. If a badge is current, but has been lost or needs an information update, please see instructions below to replace the badge.

How to update or replace a badge:

TO UPDATE AN EXISTING BADGE: You must surrender your old badge to receive a new badge at no charge. Damaged badges are replaced at no charge by surrendering the damaged badge, or pieces of the badge. There is no charge to update a name or position change on a badge that you have in your possession. Once the change shows on your employee profile, bring your current badge to either location during the operating hours to have your badge updated.

TO REPLACE A LOST/MISSING BADGE: Replacement fees are required if you no longer have a badge in your possession. Pay the replacement fee online HERE then bring your receipt to either location to pick up your replacement badge on the days/times listed above. Payment can also be made in person with a credit/debit card or money order, NO CASH/CHECKS, APPLE/GOOGLE PAY, AMERICAN EXPRESS or DISCOVER ACCEPTED.

TO REPLACE A STOLEN BADGE: Replacement of a stolen badge does not require a fee if a police report is provided. 

TO REPLACE A SUBSTITUTE BADGE: Replacement of a substitute badge is based on the expiration date on the badge. Anytime during that month, the substitute can bring their old badge to the badge office for a new photo & badge. There is no fee if the old badge is surrendered. A replacement fee is required if the substitute does not have the old badge at the time of replacement.

Replacement Fees:

  • No charge to exchange an old badge for a new badge, even if broken
  • Access Badge - $25
  • Substitute, Unsupervised Volunteer and Contractor non-access badge - $10

If online payment has been made for badge replacement fee ahead of time, you must bring your receipt to either location and pick up your badge. Badges are not mailed or sent via interoffice mail for security reasons.

The Badge Office is open year round; however, following the FCSD calendar, we will be closed on the following days:

November 24-28, 2025 - Thanksgiving Holidays
