Badging

NOTICE:

The badge office will be closed on the following:

Wednesday 1/28/26

Monday 2/16/26

Wednesday 2/25/26

Badge services are walk-in only on a first come first serve basis. Appointments are not accepted.

Background clearance requests must be sent via email to badging@fultonschools.org. Background results will no longer be provided over the phone.

All Fulton County School (FCS) employees, contractors, and unsupervised volunteers must wear a district issued badge visibly at all times while on FCS property. Other locally produced badges do not meet or satisfy this requirement. The district issued badges can only be acquired at the district badging office after proper clearance.

All visitors and supervised volunteers must sign in at the front desk of the school and provide their government identification where they will receive a locally printed temporary badge with their picture and full name to be worn visibly while on FCS property.

For more information, refer to:

All requirements must be satisfied before a new FCS district badge is issued. If a current badge is lost or needs information to be updated, please see the Badge Replacement page for instructions. To register as a supervised volunteer, unsupervised volunteer or contractor, go to the appropriate registration page to complete the requirements.
