Corneil Jones

Corneil Jones has 16 years of experience in Fulton County Schools as a teacher, school leader, and district leader, and is also a proud product of Fulton County Schools, having graduated from Riverwood High School. Corneil entered the field of teaching in 2007 as a first-grade teacher at Mount Olive Elementary School after graduating from the University of Georgia with her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Throughout her sixteen years in Fulton County Schools, she has served at the school level as an elementary teacher (Mount Olive ES, College Park ES), Behavior and Academic Intervention Specialist (College Park ES), and Curriculum Support teacher (Liberty Point). Most recently, she has also served at the district level as an Assessment Program Specialist. During her tenure in education, Corneil also earned her master’s degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University and her Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. Corneil is committed to developing relationships and engaging all stakeholders in helping meet the needs of every learner.
Gemayel Joiner
Behavioral Interventionist

Gemayel Joiner is a graduate of Morehouse College and Grand Canyon University. His experience with Fulton County Schools has allowed him to develop a laser like focus, and high leverage practices to plan, implement, and monitor the instructional growth of students with special needs. Mr. Joiner has effectively raised student growth percentiles, increased lexile levels, and strengthened overall student performance for the past 14 years. He was Liberty Point Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year (2019). Mr. Joiner is AVID certified and has been trained to deliver the following research-based curriculum: Lindamood-Bell strategies for improving reading fluency and comprehension, Wonders, LETRs, GA Numeracy Project, Specialized Math Professional Learning (SMPL). His professional experiences have prepared him to positively affect the academic performance of students facing educational adversities. Mr. Joiner's persistent work ethic, and devotion to students, make him an invaluable asset to communities and families alike.

Julie Schneider

Julie Schneider has been in education for the past 23 years. She started her career as a Special Education teacher at Riverwood High School. Over her 12 years there, she moved into the role of Administration Assistant (AA) and Dean of Students. She then became a Behavior Specialist for Fulton County and spent the next five years working on the South side of the district supporting 35+ schools with behavior, climate, and culture. Most recently, Julie was the Program Director of Fulton County Schools' secondary alternative education program, PEAK Academy, where she provided leadership and supervision for all three PEAK campuses, staff, instruction, and operations.
Charlotte Nichols
Charlotte Nichols is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and this is her first year working in Fulton County Schools. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in applied behavior analysis. She started her career working in Athens-Clarke County and at the University of Georgia's Center for Autism and Behavioral Education Research. Most recently, she worked at Pathways Autism Center as a BCBA supervisor where she worked in both the clinical and school settings with students who engaged in a variety of challenging behaviors. Charlotte is devoted to promoting positive behavior change interventions, teaching socially significant replacement behaviors, and including all major stakeholders in the implementation process.
