Fulton County Schools is proud to offer the Canvas learning management system for middle and high schools. Canvas is designed to enhance your child's educational experience. With Canvas, parents can stay connected to their child's learning journey. You can access your child's assignments, grades, and course materials all in one place. Additionally, you can communicate directly with teachers and stay informed about upcoming school events and important announcements. Canvas makes it easy to support your child's education from home.

How Do I Access My Account?

Your Canvas parent/observer account is automatically connected to the email address you have on file in Infinite Campus. You can access Canvas by following the steps below. It is best to wait until the first day of school to access as all accounts will not be available until then. 

1. Going to: fultonschools.instructure.com or click the Canvas Parent button from the school website or the main Fulton Schools website. 
2. Select Parent Login.

If you have never used Canvas before you follow these steps to set a password for your account:

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above. 
2. Select Forgot Password.
3. Enter your email once again in the Login field and click Request Password.

Once you have set up your new password, you can return to fultonschools.instructure.com, select Parent Login, and login using your email and the new password you created.

If your child is a rising 6th grade student, you will receive an email after the first day of school to setup your password. This is what the email notification will look like. If you don't receive an email, follow the steps above. 

Is there a Canvas mobile app?

Yes, there are separate apps for teachers, students, and families.  Search for Canvas in the Apple App Store or in Google Play.

1. Once downloaded on your device, click Find My School.
2. Type in Fulton County and select “Fulton County Schools Observer (Families/Guardians).”  
3. On the next screen, login with your email and password.
