Welcome to Canvas!
Fulton County Schools is proud to offer the Canvas learning management system for middle and high schools. Canvas is designed to enhance your child's educational experience. With Canvas, parents can stay connected to their child's learning journey. You can access your child's assignments, grades, and course materials all in one place. Additionally, you can communicate directly with teachers and stay informed about upcoming school events and important announcements. Canvas makes it easy to support your child's education from home.

We're excited to announce a new, streamlined process for parents and guardians to access Canvas, Fulton Schools' learning management system! For the 2025-2026 school year, your Canvas parent account will be directly linked to the information you have on file in Infinite Campus. This change will simplify account creation and ensure you have seamless access to your student's academic progress.
What Does This Mean for You?
Your Canvas parent account is automatically connected to the email address you have on file in Infinite Campus.
If you already have a Canvas account and your email matches what’s in Infinite Campus:
- No action is needed. You will keep using Canvas as usual.
If you had a Canvas account but your email does NOT match Infinite Campus:
- That account was deleted.
- A new account was created for you using your Infinite Campus email.
- You should have received an email from Fulton Schools Canvas (notifications@instructure.com) to complete your registration.
If you have never used Canvas before:
- A new account will be created for you.
- Look for an email from Fulton Schools Canvas to set it up.

What if you DON'T receive an email?
Parent Observer accounts are created from your guardian account in Infinite Campus. You should have received an email from Fulton Schools Canvas (notifications@instructure.com) notifying you that you have been registered for a Canvas account. You can complete the registration with that email. If you did not receive that email, then please follow the directions below:
- Go to fultonschools.instructure.com
- Select Parent Login.
- In the Login field - Use the email address that you have listed in Infinite Campus on your guardian account and Select Forgot Password.
- Enter your email once again in the Login field and click Request Password.
Once you have set up your new password, you can return to fultonschools.instructure.com, select Parent Login, and login using your email and the new password you created.
How to Access Canvas:
Once your account is active, you can access Canvas by:
- Going to: fultonschools.instructure.com
- Select "Parent Login".
Is there a Canvas mobile app?
Yes, there are separate apps for teachers, students, and families. Search for Canvas in the Apple App Store or in Google Play.

a. Once downloaded on your device, click Find My School.
b. Type in Fulton County and select “Fulton County Schools Observer (Families/Guardians).”
c. On the next screen, login with your email and password.
