Accelerated & Extended Programming
The Fulton County Schools Accelerated & Extended Learning Department is a multifaceted department dedicated to providing enriched learning experiences, including advanced programming, TAG, and High Dosage Small Group & Extended Learning. The Department features programs such as Advanced Placement (AP), empowering students to delve deeply into college-level subjects. Additionally, the district embraces the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, fostering skills like critical thinking and collaboration. In line with global perspectives, the department proudly supports International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, promoting an internationally recognized curriculum. Complementing these offerings are Magnet Programs, designed to attract students with specific interests, talents, or career aspirations, and creating specialized educational pathways.
