School Screenings
Vision Screening
District Health Services assists all elementary schools with coordinating mass vision screening for students. Typically, all students in the following grades are screened: 1st, 3rd, and 5th-grade students. Please note that the district has several partnerships that may help with vision screenings, and the services provided and grade levels screened may vary. Students who fail the screening are sent information from the school about follow-up and full eye exam services. The Department of Services for Exceptional Children coordinates mass hearing screenings.
