"…one of the ways you get kids to read and write and to be interested… is to fire up their imaginations; give them interesting stuff to read, give them challenging things to write."

    - Sir Ken Robinson, Education and Creativity Expert, TED Radio Hour, NPR, Jan.

The Teaching Museum provides hands-on educational exhibits and arts-based programming that engage students in the Humanities, Language Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, and Fine Arts, with the goal of improving student achievement.

The Museum introduces students from kindergarten through twelfth-grade to fundamental concepts in creative and imaginative ways. All programs are curriculum-based and support the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
