Meet Mr. Campbell

  • A native of Tampa FL, Mr. Campbell grew up the son of an Air Force veteran and spent his early years growing up in several States including, Alaska, California, and Texas. He gained his first teaching experience as a high school special education teacher in Hillsborough County FL. Upon moving to Georgia, he served at Centennial High School for 9 years in multiple capacities including Assistant Principal. Mr. Campbell left Centennial in 2014 to become the principal at Camp Creek Middle and then transitioned to the principal at Sandy Springs Middle School. In March of 2020, Mr. Campbell returned home to Centennial to lead the Knights! 

     

    Mr. Campbell graduated from the University of South Florida and went on to earn his graduate degree in Exceptional Student Education and Specialist degree in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. 

     

    Mr. Campbell is passionate about providing the opportunity for all students to be successful.  He is committed to serving students, parents, and communities and believes in the power of partnership, accountability, and collaboration.  He is an advocate for building a school culture that fosters shared decision making and professional learning communities. He is the proud husband to his wife Demi and father of Boy/Girl twins. In his spare time, he enjoys watching is daughter compete in competitive gymnastics and watching his son play travel baseball.
