Transition to Georgia’s K-12 Mathematics Standards

Please see the attached parent letter from Fulton County Schools explaining changes coming next school year in math. Additionally attached are the grade level math sequence charts. It is important for parents and students to become familiar with these changes and documents. An informational video is provided by the district as well and may be accessed here on our AHS website.

IMPORTANT: Our course request process will begin in late January. We will communicate more detailed information for our students during that process but wanted to ensure you have this information now so that you may start to become familiar with these important changes. Please know that we will host a parent meeting in January in order to provide more clarity and answer individual questions. More information and the date of this meeting will be provided communicated in January.
