STRAIGHT FACTS The Warehouse Operations Team handles all the auxiliary goods for the district which includes surplus, assessments, furniture, textbooks, mail, food for distribution, and special projects. All suitable surplus furniture goes into the Warehouse Marketplace to be selected by the district personnel first. If the goods do not move within a certain window, the items are posted to GovDeal.com for public bidding. As of today, they have sold over $1.2 million worth of goods (surplus furniture, peripheral equipment, etc.) on GovDeals.com with that amount growing weekly. The fund's go back into the district's general fund. Focus FCS
