Webb Bridge Middle School offers a variety of clubs to provide students with opportunities for enrichment and community building. Please see the 2023-2024 Clubs List for a list of available clubs with more detailed information. Contact club sponsors with specific questions.
If you are interested in starting a club that doesn't already exist, please find a faculty member willing to sponsor the club and ask them to complete the Club Application Form.

7th Grade Character Council
The 7th grade character council will help lead the 7th grade class in service-learning. They will participate in visiting elementary schools to educate and read to 4th and 5th graders, communicate with business partners, help fundraise to repair wells in South Sudan through our nonprofit partner Water is Basic, and organize the 3rd annual WBMS
Walk for Water.
Fridays 8 am, starting in November
Interested members will complete an application during our September novel read.

Advanced Chamber Orchestra
The Advanced Chamber Orchestra is the highest-level orchestra at WBMS. We rehearse once per week and play several performances throughout the year
at WBMS and other venues when invited.

Anime Club
Step into the Anime Club, your portal to the captivating realm of Japanese Animation, where we not only enjoy anime but also explore its rich history! Black History Club
The purpose of the Black History Club is to encourage the study of Black History, to acknowledge and learn about the achievements and contributions of Black people in America, to learn about the unique cultural traditions of the Black culture, to promote positive self- images, to encourage academic success, and to encourage outstanding behavior. Additionally, the Black History Club will work to promote cultural awareness by planning activities that celebrate Black History Month during the
month of February.
1st and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:50 in room 815. First meeting will be September 28th.
There will be occasional afternoon meetings, which will be communicated to members in advance.

Debate Club
We will participate in Atlanta Urban Debate League (affiliated with Emory University). Topics and “research” are provided from AUDL. Check out their website & resources here: www.atlantadebate.org
Debate Club will help you develop your speaking and writing skills.
Participants will need to find a partner. You will collaborate and plan with that partner to research, write, and speak at tournaments. You compete in tournaments as a team. This club requires work outside the school day and club meeting days. Our practices will include coaching sessions from
Alpharetta High School’s Debate
Club and AUDL staff.

Engineering Club
Design and create projects using a variety of methods and materials in order to solve engineering problems.

Equestrian Club
Participate in monthly riding lessons and/or horsemanship lessons at WBMS two Sunday afternoons per semester.

FBLA (Future Business Leaders Of America)
FBLA is a club that focuses on the development of business and leadership skillsets, and offers multiple competitive events and opportunities that allow students to test their skills at the regional,
state, and national levels.

Everyone can cook! Even if you
don’t take French class. Come learn to cook some authentic French treats and learn about some French culture. Some meetings will

Goldfish Club
The host troop leads a monthly, themed meeting with fun activities designed to facilitate friendships and opportunities for social communication/interaction.

Interact Club
Interact is a service club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Alpharetta. Each year, the club will have a local service project and a community- oriented service project. We plan to focus on improving school-wide participation in environmental initiatives such as recycling and
composting.

Jaguar News Club
Each quarter, the JNC will meet weekly to learn: script writing, news gathering, special video segments, Canva graphic designs,

Jazz Band
The WBMS Jazz Band is a performing ensemble within the Webb Bridge Middle School Band Program. The ensemble consists of woodwinds, brass and rhythm section. The rhythm section consists of piano, guitar, bass, vibraphone and drumset. Audition is required for membership into
this ensemble.

Jewish Club (WBJC)
Hang out and have fun while learning about Jewish culture and foods. We also sponsor The Daffodil Project at WBMS. All are welcome, you do not need to be
Jewish to attend.

In math club, we learn problem solving strategies, try out challenging problems, do logic puzzles and brain teasers, and compete in several competitions such as Math Counts and Math

Our club participates in the Jr. Tome Society. We are given books to read for the year and General Club has opportunities to participate in Fall and Spring Competitions. Competition Team has 3 on line exam competitions during the year. At meetings we
will discuss books and hear from authors.

Science Olympiad is an American team competition in which students compete in 23 events pertaining to various scientific disciplines, including earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. During our time together at WBMS, we will decide
