Future Artists for Tri-Cities VPA Magnet Program! It is an honor to potentially help you grow in your artistic endeavors through our Internationally recognized Visual and Performing Arts School. We offer this upcoming year seven different majors to major in:

Dance

Visual Arts

Band

Orchestra

Music Production

Choir

Theatre

You can choose to audition virtually or physically. Our Physical audition will be on Feb. 11th at 10 am. Please click on the 3rd link below to sign-up! Our online audition window is Nov.15- Jan.15. NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE WILL BE ON FEB.15TH VIA E-MAIL YOU INSERT ON THE APPLICATION.

If you plan to virtually audition, please follow the following steps:

1. Click on Link number 1 and download 2 copies. Give 1 Form to an Academic Teacher and 1 form to an Artistic Teacher. Once BOTH forms are filled in and given back to you, digitally signed. You will be able to upload them to your Magnet Application, which is step number 2.

2. Click on Link Number 2- Follow All Steps within the application. (Each Department has specific requirements to audition. Please read each requirement and upload your video based on those requirements. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE AN ART MAJOR PLEASE UPLOAD YOUR PORTFOLIO VIA POWERPOINT INSTEAD OF A VIDEO ON THE APPLICATION.)  

IN ORDER TO SUCCESSFULLY SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION, YOU MUST HAVE: 

A. 2 Teacher Recommendation Forms (1 Academic and 1 Artistic) You will upload this to your application.   

B. a 200-Word Essay that answers 1 of the following 2 options: What qualities can you contribute to your program of interest to add to its success?• What are your goals as it relates to being a Tri-Cities High School Magnet Student? You will upload this to your application. 

C. Your Audition Video! See your Majors requirements on the application. Art majors will upload a PowerPoint in place of a performance video.
