Funding the Bridge to Success

  • In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Congress passed three bills to provide immediate and direct economic assistance to state and local educational agencies through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER I, II & III) funds. These funds were provided to support school districts’ academic and non-academic components that suffered the greatest impact because of COVID-19. The funding is also intended to support states and local school districts’ efforts to safely reopen schools, address significant gaps in learning, and support programs and initiatives that will continue to reduce the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on students and families.

The site displays the amount of ESSER funds a school district has received, the amount of submitted budgets approved, and the time remaining in the grant period. When visiting the dashboard, go to "Select System" and choose "Fulton County" to learn more about FCS ESSER funding.
