• The AP Capstone Diploma Program is a comprehensive two-year program basoned on two AP courses, AP Seminar and AP Research. 

    The program offers students a deep-dive into problem-solving skills that are essential to a productive professional life in a quickly evolving world.

    Some important facts for IA's Capstone Program:

    • All IA students will participate in this program to help develop these problem-solving skills that IA sees as the most important for our students to succeed.
    • The skills developed in this class will support students in developing their Pinnacle Projects. 
    • AP Seminar will count as a graduation required English credit taken in lieu of 10th grade literature.
    • AP Research is a required elective for all juniors. 
    • A Capstone diploma requires students to complete both AP SEminar and AP Research and four additional AP courses. 
      • Students are encouraged to consider the Capstone Diploma when academically appropriate, but it is not required to graduate from IA.
