Intellectual Disabilities

Intellectual disabilities refer to significantly subaverage general intellectual functioning which exists concurrently with deficits in adaptive behavior that adversely affect educational performance and is manifested during the developmental period.
The Mild/Moderate Intellectual Disability program is an adapted curriculum that services students with intellectual functioning ranging between an upper limit of approximately 50-70.
The Moderate/Severe/ Profound Intellectual Disability program is an adapted curriculum that serves students whose intellectual functioning range falls below 50 with significant deficits in adaptive behavior.
