    On 9/25, the FCS IT Support app begins appearing on student Windows Desktops. 

    If students do not see the icon, they will need to restart the device and the blue icon should appear.  Students can click on the blue icon and change the password at any time.  This icon will remain on student Windows devices. 

    When students return to F2F learning, they will receive a “popup” to prompt them to change their passwords if they have not done so already. Students can cancel the pop-up, but it will continue to popup periodically (when students are on an FCS network only) until they change their passwords. 

    What action must I take to change my password? 

    • If the app is not on the desktop of your school device, Reboot your computer – Start>Power>Restart.
    • Launch the FCS IT app.
    • Click “Change My Password”.
    • Enter their current password and then a new password.
      • Note:  The student can type in their current password and then click “Suggest Password” for a new password suggestion. New password requirements are below
    • Click “Submit.”

    Student Password Requirements—FCS Windows Devices Only

    To reduce unauthorized access to student accounts, all students are advised to change their passwords.  The password requirements are:

    • At least 8 characters long and contain 3 of the following:
      • At least 1 uppercase letter (A, B, C)
      • At least 1 lowercase letter (a, b, c)
      • At least 1 number (1, 2, 3)
      • At least 1 special character (#, %, etc)
      • Cannot be the same as a previously used password
      • Cannot contain the username

    You can use the Password Reset Tool found on the bottom of the Fulton County School home page to unlock your account or change your password. Follow the instructions on the Password Reset Tool to Register and use .

How can I get more information?

  • If remote students need assistance, they are directed to contact the FCS Remote Learning Hotline (470-254-2300). Students who are coming to the building for face to face instruction can get help from Mrs. Morgan in the Student Center, MorganL1@fultonschools.org.
