- Why I am excited to be at IA
- After starting the counseling program at my former school (Tapestry Public Charter) from the ground up with 9th and 10th graders , the lessons I learned along the way will both transform how we support our students from the first day they walk into our building and how counselors can bring innovative practices of our own to the classroom and community.
- One of my main goals this year will be to work with prospective and accepted students, along with all the IA staff, to foster a community that is warm and welcoming.
- We live in downtown Crabapple and our sons attend Fulton Science Academy in Alpharetta (and hopefully IA for high school!)
- In my free time, I enjoy cooking and challah baking (check out my future Science of Cooking and Baking club), spinning class at home on my Peloton, hiking, and taking our Goldendoodle puppy named Lucy Snickerdoodle on lots of walks!
