  • Signs of Suicide

    Fulton County Schools has implemented the Signs of Suicide program to increase awareness amongst our students. This year FCS has mandated that all 9 thgraders participate in the program.  All 9 th graders will receive face-to-face instruction in their 9 th grade Literature class on November 10 th  which will be presented by the AHS Counseling Department.  If your student is not taking a 9 th Grade Literature class, he/she will be pulled out of their Anchor Time class on November 11 th .  If you DO NOT want your student to participate in this lesson, please return the attached form (linked below) to Mrs. Wiley WileyJG@fultonschools.org by November 4 th

    The hyperlinked PowerPoint gives you an example of what will be presented to your student on November 10 th.  If you have any questions after reviewing the PowerPoint, please contact your students' counselor.

    Will to Live

    AHS will host the viewing of the Will To Live Video on November 9 th  for parents at 6:30 PM in the auditorium, which will be presented by John Trautwein.

    In response to the increase in vaping among teens and young adults, the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids has created an online guide for parents. The guide describes what vaping is, its appeal to young people, and the health risks associated with vaping. The guide also provides talking points for tough questions that a child may ask.
