As students in Fulton County Schools (FCS) have begun returning to face-to-face instruction, a number of changes were implemented to ensure the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors. Among the most vital of these changes is the development and introduction of a new electronic FCS COVID-19 Reporting Portal for parents. This electronic reporting process will allow for a more direct reaction from primarily the Fulton County Board of Health (FCBOH) with support from FCS to promptly respond and address student/family cases of COVID-19.

For support regarding all device issues, please call the IT Service Desk at 470-254-4357 and select Option 8 to make an appointment for assistance.
If you are experiencing problems logging in to your device you may have to visit a FCS hotspot which is any FCS school. You can sit in the parking lot close to the school and try logging in 2 times. If your device still does not log in please contact the IT Service Desk.
Device Updates
-
If your student has a District issued device, it is important that students charge and turn on their device as soon as possible.
Students should log in and allow the device to remain online for 30 consecutive minutes to download any Microsoft updates. District updates can only be done at the school (you'll be able to access the school network from the parking lot) and this is important for all applications to work on August 17, 2020.
If the device does not work or there are issues with technology, students can do the following:
- Contact the District's Technology Help Line at 470-254-4357 or email the Help Desk at itservicedesk@fultonschools.org.
- Take your device to any District Learning Hub located at the following schools: Ridgeview, Wolf Creek, Taylor Road, and Banneker on Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm. (Please note that these hubs will not issue devices, but they can help with technology issues).

Summer School 2021
As part of the FOCUS plan to address pandemic-created learning loss, FCS is using CARES Act funds to increase Summer School offerings. During the Board meeting, Chief Academic Officer Cliff Jones detailed plans to expand offerings this summer. The additional resources will include offering two sessions of face-to-face Summer School this year: Session 1 is June 7-24 and Session 2 is July 1-22. Virtual summer school, which will include expanded options for high school students in particular, will be June 2-July 14. Elementary and high school students will have the choice to attend either one or both sessions, while middle school students will only be offered Session 1 due to their different learning needs. Registration will open March 12 and closes on May 28. Students with IEPs who will require special education transportation per his/her IEP should register no later than April 23 for Session 1 and Session 2 to ensure the child’s route is in place for the first day of summer school.
